I spent this Saturday wandering the Iranian quarter of Bordeaux, eating baklava and zulbia and watching the tram workers protest Sarkozy's pension reform which changes the retirement age from 60 to 62. |

Café: Pain and Cie
Pain & Cie (64 Rue des Remparts) is on of my favorite cafés in Bordeaux, they have great café au lait served in adoreable bowls, and the croques (monsieur, salmon and vegetarian) are excellent. It's adorable both inside and out, with big wooden tables and warm lighting. |
croque monsieur and croque vegetarian. |
crumble avec pomme et fruit rouge |
hyper grand café! |

A Grey Saturday
It was a lovely gray Saturday, I sipped café au lait and eat the perfect croque monsieur at Pain & Cie, browsed record stores and wandered the beautiful city I know call home. |
